We have received the sad news that Neli (Cornelia) Staritz has passed away far too soon after a long illness –
the Mattersburg Circle and the Paulo Freire Center are in mourning.
We have lost an energetic and highly esteemed colleague and a beloved friend – a clever, fun-loving, strong person. Many of us associate her with joint projects and important impulses. Neli, as she was usually called, contributed to numerous publications of the Mattersburg Circle, was a member of the Board of Directors since 2019 and actively participated in several development conferences.
Our thoughts are with her, her family and her friends.
