The activities of the “Mattersburger Kreis” include in particular
- the publication of the Journal for Development Policy (JEP), which is aimed at an academic audience with an interest in development policy;
- the publication of the book series on Society, Development & Politics (“Geschichte – Entwicklung – Globalisierung” – GEP; German only), which presents major topics in an understandable way and is used in teaching;
- the organization of the Austrian Development Conference (in close cooperation with the Paulo Freire Centre, which is in charge)
- the organization of special events and workshops.
